Originally it was a local fisherman’s house, today has become a welcoming guest house with 3 bedrooms located in the heart of the oldest and most characteristic city district.
Our guest house skilfully combines charm and mystery of the past and modernity and comfort of the present.
Marè is located in front of the port, in the heart of the ‘old city’, in whose streets you can savor the most authentic and genuine sense of the city of Bari.
just a few steps away from the suggestive ‘Basilica of Saint Nicolas’, a famous destination for pilgrims and the center of Christian and Orthodox spirituality, where the remains of the beloved saint, patron saint of the city, are preserved.
Our strategic position even allows you to reach the heart of nightlife in a few minutes simply walking: the nearby Piazza Mercantile, Piazza Ferrarese or Corso Vittorio Emanuele in the evening come alive, with many places where it’s possible to stop for dinner or after dinner and savor the apulian traditional foods and wines.
All our rooms of Marè Guest House are equipped with every comfort and, upon request by guests, it’s possible to activate the bike rental service or transfer/shuttle service.
